As much as I like Christmas/end-of-year parties, I acknowledge they are a magnet for toxicity and inappropriate behaviour. Please remember company parties are work events, and there is a code of conduct in place. They might look like a group of friends getting drunk together, but in fact group dynamics and hierarchy remain. If you can’t see this, if you are in a position of power, reconsider your involvement in the event.
